Recently I went to start my truck and a warning came on telling me to engage parking break to prevent roll. I engaged it and nothing changed. I was on a flat surface. My truck it would kill when It did start, and I shifted to D. After several attempts the warning went away and I drove off.
I turned off Hill Start Assist and I have not had the problem repeat. Is that what was caused it? Is there another issue?
