Spray painting exhaust tip?

Thinking of spray painting my exhaust tips with rust oleum premium custom lacquer spray paint, says on the bottle to apply on surface that does not exceed 200f \ 93c i think. Do exhaust tips get that hot? i read somewhere they get up to like 120/150 but not sure if thats the case with the v8 rams

You can get close to 200 parked in direct sunlight on a hot day. Link.

You'll need to look for high-temp engine paint.

Just buy tips in the color you want. They are cheap enough.

Ive looked but most of them are either black or chrome and i think the current tip i got is welded via borla touring. I just though covering and spray painting would be easier than cutting haha

Yeah ill do some research later this evening and see if any of em come in bronze xD
