Spray a folding bed cover?

So I bought a folding bed cover. Won't name the name but it rhymes with black slip. Nice cover. I set a bag of ice on it the other day. Not hard, not soft. With about as much effort as you would set a bag of ice on anything. And it pitted it. Anyone ever had bedliner sprayed on a tonneau? Seems like a good idea to me..

In GA. Just thinking it would probably be a bit tougher with the liner sprayed. The aluminum that sandwiches the styrofoam is very thin. I may call some local shops and see if they have ever done it.
