HI All

Just ordered a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T 35x12.5R17

Wondering if the new tire will fit under the chassis in the spare spot?

thx all!

I replaced my spare with a 33.5" tire on the 18" rim to match the height of my 285/60/20's. It fit just fine.
I suspect yours would fit, especially if it's actual measurement is something less than 35".

Did you mean to say 17’s?
Those are a total diameter of 34.49” and a total width of 12.8”. You can measure that for yourself on your truck to see.

If your tires are truly 35" in diameter, they likely will not fit. I have a used for 10k miles 285/55R22 that measures ~34" and some change inflated on wheel spare under mine and it is wedged in and had to use some persuasion to get it to make it fit.

@Nels what size did you use for on your spare to get that 33.5" diameter?
