Sori too loud....

I have the 12 inch Harman Kardon system and when my phone is connected and I want to speak into the microphone to send a text there is a tone of a couple of beeps that says I can go ahead and talk. These come through extremely loudly through my speaker system with the volume only about a third of the way up on the radio. Much louder than the radio itself. I have been able to find no way to turn this down. Does anybody know how to or if it’s even possible?

While the phone is talking through the radio turn the volume knob down. Turning the knob while the phone is talking (or the Nav or whatever) will adjust that particular volume and not affect the music level.
