I'm researching/planning a modification, and trying to identify the part number for a specific version of the "Instrument Panel Switch" assembly. The part I'm trying to identify is #4 in the image, with 4 lever buttons which I believe might be traction control, tow/haul mode, park sense, and lane sense.

Does anyone know the part number for this? The ramtrucks.com website was less than helpful.

Also, does anyone who has done the "Upfitter Switches" upgrade have a used one that they don't need anymore and would be willing to part with for an affordable price? Thanks. :)

#4 should be from left to right Traction Control, Tow/Haul, Rear Park Sense, and Front Park Sense. What exactly are you looking to do?

Close enough. I'm looking for extra switch positions. Mine only has the first two and a big blank piece, but I thought one with all the switches might be modified to become a pair of extra switches on the right end, and still keep the OEM traction and tow functions.

Do you know the part number and/or where I can get one to play with? Thanks!

The part number for the 4 switches is 68309262AD but you are trying to customize the other two is what you are saying not actually use the others for Park Sense Front & Back?

Exactly! I don't have Park Sense, but do have plans for a modification that needs a switch "somewhere". So was thinking I could maybe cut away a couple circuit board traces, leaving the traction and tow alone, but re-purpose the other switch contacts and maybe even the LED's.

It's a cosmetic thing. I don't "have to" do this, I could just mount a switch somewhere, but this could make it look like it belongs.

Thanks for the part number. Just curious, how do you look up things like that? I don't have much luck with ramtrucks.com. It usually doesn't tell me what I need to know, and often lies about what will fit or won't, gives wrong pictures, etc. This forum and its users have been a great find, much appreciated! :)

Just so you know this website gives one of the best descriptions I’ve found out there for replacement parts.

Thanks! I'll add that to my notes and bookmarks. Better picture for sure and prices look comparatively reasonable. (y)

Well if you make it work let me know how it turns out I know at the back of these it has connectors that you will have to have specific male connector to fit the back to power it.

I never buy from them really just use them for descriptions compared to other sites and finding parts you can either find a vehicle that has what your looking for and get the VIN from it and call any Mopar parts dealer to confirm or just by searching up specific descriptions if I don’t know the exact part number and go through the diagrams and see if it fits my year, model, cab size, and engine depending on what you are looking for sometimes only a few apply. I never give my VIN either as they will see it did not come originally with my truck.

Yeah, who knows - the idea may come to nothing. If I can get one to tear apart, it won't take me long to figure out if it's do-able. Don't want to spend a bunch on a part that may not work, so I posted a want on the buy and sell forum in the hope someone has one lying around. We'll see what happens. 🤷‍♂️

Isolating the switch on the circuit board should be easy, then solder 2 wires on the contact and feed the wires out. But dont forget, these switches are momentary switches. You will need a latching circuit somehow to latch the contact. You can use this and modify the 2 extra switches.

(y) Way ahead of you, I was eyeing up an Omron ratchet relay.

G4Q Ratchet Relay/Features | OMRON Industrial Automation

Click on, click off, all electro-mechanical, no pesky semiconductors. :)

That will work too, but don't forget, it is latching mechanically, so power off the ignition will not unlatch it.
That's exactly what I want for the planned modification. :) If I need one to forget when the power drops, I'll use something else.
