Softest ride comes from which suspension setup?

Hi All,

This is probably a stupid question but I'm trying to figure out which stock suspension setup gives the softest / plushest ride on road. From what I've gathered so far between steel coils and air, the air is smoother.

But I'm a little confused about the ORG / ORP -- it's listed as being heavier duty than regular, sure, but is that referencing the increased rigors it can withstand, or increased spring and damping stiffness? My weak understanding suggests that off-road suspension is usually more about softening the ride than stiffening it (eg: Jeep Gladiator Mojave).

So then you throw in the Rebel -- is that softer than non-Rebel?

Cheers,
Toby.

If you want the softest ride available, it’s going to be air ride without ORG or Rebel. All air ride have the same airbags, so they just increase the pressure for the added height, which adds stiffness.

So then where does the comfort of the Rebel stand against the steel coils of a non-Rebel? And non-Rebel with ORG?
