Nice setup. Boss HTX on my 21 Rebel. Carries it with no problem. First snow last week and used it.

Do you all have anything upgraded on the front end? My local dealers here in South Dakota want to use Timbren front suspension components and a level kit for my 2019 Bighorn 1500. Just curious, what kinda price did you all pay for a straight blade? As stated, here in South Dakota, They want about $8k for a straight blade and $8500 for a V. The V adds about 50lbs. Models considered are the Boss HTX V plow and the Western Enforcer V plow.

I do not have any upgrades to the front suspension. When I got my Boss HTX straight blade installed we discussed it, but I only do my driveway and the poly version I got only weighs about 360 lbs. the front only drops about an inch when I lift the plow. I paid $6.5 out the door for a 7ft poly straight blade HTX. I also added the snow deflector and a set of castors to move the plow around when not attached to the truck.

I have a 3 1/2” lift and a Timbren kit in my frt end. My SNOWAY weighs 450lbs, so I also put about 400 lbs of sandbags in my bed to even things out. I would not put a plow on a 1/2 ton without at least a level and Timbren. I only do my my very large asphalt driveway, no commercial . I live just south of Buffalo, NY and we get a lot of snow, so plowing 2-3 feet of snow at one time happens a few times a season. My SNOWAY was $6000 installed 3 years ago.
