Hey everyone, I have a 2021 Ram Laramie and just noticed this happening. There’s a sizzling noise and some smoke/steam from the passenger side rear seat. Happens when the rear defroster kicks on and lasts for about 3-5 minutes then goes away. Any ideas?

It is a possible rear leak and you are hearing water boiling and evaporating, I'd have that checked ASAP.

Looks like water stains, good chance back window is leaking

I would check the connections between the window defroster and wiring to make sure there is a good connection. Something may be loose causing high resistance and could end up causing enough heat to build up to start a fire or shatter the rear window.
