years ago, nothing lately but it was the exact same thing you described. weird smell inside, steamy windows with defrost on and an odd steamy cloud would come out of dash vents. and I had a little puddle on passenger side floor pan against the firewall. The same thing has happened to you??
I bet it wasn’t like this tho I have a full video this was really bad. They need to allow me to upload a videoyears ago, nothing lately but it was the exact same thing you described. weird smell inside, steamy windows with defrost on and an odd steamy cloud would come out of dash vents. and I had a little puddle on passenger side floor pan against the firewall.
Yep it was that bad! That’s definitely a heater core or core hose problem. Your heater core is actually inside the cab behind the glove box and hoses sometimes run through the firewall to it but not always sometimes the core stubs stick out. But either way antifreeze steam cause the smoke and fogged windows 99% of the time. Sometimes in the old days you had to take the whole dashboard out to replace it. Not sure if Rams are that way today. But GM did in the past I know.I bet it wasn’t like this tho I have a full video this was really bad. They need to allow me to upload a video
