This is an apple to oranges comparison, but here is my Roofnest Falcon XL (90x60” closed) on my old 5’7” ram. It came just short of the open tailgate (by about 2-3” inches).
I see the “bed size” of the Smittybuilt is 92.5x74.5”. It’ll probably come just about dead even with the open tailgate.
The XL is about 76" long, truck bed is about 67". Thinking if I got it a little closer to the cab, it would be about the same length back as the end of the tailgate when it's folded up. Tailgate on the Rebel is about 5-6" thick.
This Toyota Crew Max has a 67" bed I believe, probably the closest thing I could find:
Partially worried about it looking too goofy, and partially worried it would be some sort of hazard in tight spaces. But man, having king-sized sleeping space vs full-sized would be pretty nice.
Oh if it’s only 76” long, I think you’ll be fine. That makes it 14” shorter than my Falcon. I wouldn’t worry one bit.
Here’s my Falcon on my current truck, with the 6’4” bed. The overhang doesn’t bother me at all, and you’d have 5” less overhang. (The overhang did bother me with the shorter bed, and as crazy as it sounds, that silly tent was part of my reason for trading my first Ram in, but that shouldn’t be an issue with a 76” tent).
