Small Speakers in Headliner

At the risk of sounding stupid what are these speakers for? They don't seem to be part of the audio system. I have speakers in front corners of dashboard and in doors.

Not speakers, microphones. Two up front for hands-free and one in each corner for active noise cancelation.
