This is prob a stupid questions which i know the answer to but does anyone make skid plates with some sort of air dam attached to it? LOL I feel like i need to protect my engine since its basically bared but at the same time i do engine the fuel economic of the air dam.

I have not scene one but if you have an air dam it would effectively make the skid plate useless or maybe the air dam useless once it's torn off and you hit the skid plate.

What do you need to protect your engine from? Do you off-road a lot? If not, then I don't see a need.

i dont off road often but i do work in random places that has horrible offroad roads haha

I think you have to remove the active air dam to install a skid plate. It concerns me that the engine is exposed as well. Even if you don’t off road, there are many objects on the road that can damage your engine. We constantly have dirt clumps, wood, metal, etc on our roads.

Sorry, gotta ask. I'm sure it's a typo, but just in case it's not, what's a diet clump? :ROFLMAO:

Sry DIRT clumps. Too many beers + auto correct!

I'm not sure if you will have to remove the air dam but Shifts and Grins Fabrication is working on a front skid plate to sell:
