Recently picked up a 4x4 bighorn crewcab and really truly love it!
The only issue I’m having is that both the short wife and our 70lb sheepdog both struggle a bit to get up and into the cab.
What are the recommendations for after market steps? I’m looking for a step/running board that is tight to the body so it doesn’t change the appearance of the trucks lines to much.
Longevity and budget are also considerations.

Many thanks for any advice

There are lots of threads on side-steps. You just need to look at them and see what suits your fancy.

see post #30 for some factors in figuring what might help in your decision making.

Keep in mind, the tighter to the body and to a degree the less noticeable the steps are the less useful they will be. You will need to find a balance between steps that are actually useful and safe and ones that are aesthetically acceptable to you.
In the end I ordered and installed the OEM polished ones.

Thank you for the responses. I knew there were good threads on this forum already but I was have problems finding the right ones.
