Hello guys, new member and first time Ram Owner here, so be gentle. I just bought a new to me 2019 1500 Limited, and within a few miles of the dealership began to notice an issue with the driveline. It starts out as a shudder in low speed acceleration, especially when turning left and gets worse the longer I go on. Feels like the drive is slipping at times. I had my son take a video and you can hear a loud clanking coming from the rear end. Sounds like an issue with the Diff to me, but I'm certainly no mechanic. I bought it 4 hours away and by the time I noticed the problem, the dealership had closed. I called the Sales Manager and to his credit he answered the phone, but he was unable/unwilling to help and suggested I take it to a local shop for warranty repair. All the local dealerships are saying at least 4 weeks out before I can even get an appointment to discuss, and I'm concerned about driving it and causing more damage. One of the reasons I bought this truck was that it had immaculate service records, always serviced at the dealership I purchased it from, and had even had its differential, transmission and transfer cases serviced, and fluids replaced during 50K mile service which was performed back in January of this year. Any advice you guys could give on how big an issue this might be and whether its safe to drive, or should be parked until I can get in for service would be greatly appreciated. I do still have 6K miles left on Powertrain warranty, so anything major should be covered, and I got a 2 year 24K mile extended warranty with purchase.

Update - Dropped at dealer last night and just heard back already with diagnosis. Rear end was shot, said that there is a clutch assembly in the differential that had failed and its easier to replace the hole thing rather than try to repair. Covered under warranty, so I'm breathing a bit easier.
