Setting up Alexa, internet connection?

I’d like to setup Alexa in my truck but I’m running into an issue with the internet connection. See the image below.
I have the truck connected to my home WiFi. Will Alexa not use that connection?

I don’t really want to have to pay for internet for the truck. Id only use Alexa when connected to my house internet to auto start from inside via my Echo Speakers.
