Selec-speed unavailable

I just got a 2025 Warlock. It has the selec-speed button, but when I press it, the brakes engage for a second and then it says selec-speed unavailable. I made sure I'm in 4 low, under 5mph, not touching the brake or gas pedal, parking brake off, seat belt on, door closed, in drive. I assume this feature is similar to what is on a Rebel or the off road group. Does anyone know what could be wrong. I suspect it's user error.

Not familiar with the 2025 MY trucks.
What I have is a "hill descent" mode that requires a certain amount of down angle to engage, will do nothing on flat land.
