screen is black and buttons (climate, Lane departure, etc) not working

Two days ago I drove around and made several quick stops. Got home and the truck sat for like an hour before I had to leave again. Got back in and now the screen is black and I am unable to use any buttons on the side of the screen. Buttons on the steering wheel let me control the radio but nothing else. Problem persisted through yesterday and this morning. Checked the fuse and its fine. Soft reset ( pressing power button and tune button) didnt work. Neither did disconnecting the battery for a minute or two. Any suggestions before the dealership tries to shaft me

How about disconnecting your negative terminal on the battery and reconnecting after awhile? My guess, the worse can happen is losing some of your settings. That’s what I would do before going to the dealer. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
