Save preferences?

Every time I get in my truck, I swipe left on the navigation screen to show the map, and then zoom it out a bit. Would be nice if it would just save my preference, or keep your last setup. You'd think it'd be advanced enough to do this, but wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?

No, there isn't a default override setting.
