if you want wireless charging that's way better and faster, grab yourself one of those Anker wireless charging pad, a USB-C cable (if it doesn't come with one), and a 110v USB-C brick and plug that to the inverter outlet under the big screen.
Use 3M VHB tape to secure the wireless charger you bought to the desired location. To do that, attach the wireless charger to your phone first, peel the backing tape off the 3M VHB, and stick it to the wireless charger exactly as how you would put the phone in normally. Remove phone, firmly push the charger to your stock phone holder for good 30 seconds or so. And you're done.
Never understood why people need to put their phones up high in the line of sight when there's CarPlay/ Android Auto.
