Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus wireless charging

Just got the phone on Tuesday. Yesterday, I placed it in the charging cradle and got the flashing red light. Moved it around for a few minutes and finally found a spot that it would charge, but it's damn near impossible to find that spot again. My wife has the same phone and her phone doesn't have any issues charging in my truck. I did a generic Google search and the issue doesn't seem wide spread. Anybody else with a S25 Plus having the same issue? I realize the wireless charger isn't very fast and I can plug it in, but I'm not looking for that debate.

I had same issues at different times with my S24 Ultra. Hit or miss and other times, no issues. I quit using and plugged in because got irritating.

1 week after buying my Pixel 8 Pro and the wireless charging feature stopped working. I could have had it replaced but it's a PITA setting up all the apps I use. Now I just plug it in.

It's the same, with or without the case.

I just went for a drive and tried both phones. My wife's phone illuminates the blue light and shows it's charging, but the battery percentage decreased over the span of a 20 minute drive. I did a little research and apparently the Qi2 wireless charging on the S25 is not as forgiving with older wireless charging pads. Oh well, I guess I'll just plug it in. Now I need to buy a cord with a 90° plug so my phone can sit straight up in the cradle.
