Hello all,

Over the weekend I purchased my first American vehicle. I’ve been lurking here for months reading about everyone’s experiences. I bought a 2019 Laramie midnight 3.21 which is yielding me 16.5 currently with 200 miles on the clock in mixed driving. Listed at $61k+ and paid $49k with 100k warranty.

So far I am absolutely in love and feel spoiled. Some brake smell so far but I’m not very fussy. No leaks after the snow that fell last night in mid May or rain. I’ve got the black out 5 star rims with 20’ Falken A/T and they are managing some rough roads well thx to the Off Road package which I required

I tow a 3klb horse trailer with two horses and tack and the truck does great.

I drove the 3.92 and the mileage never went over 9mpg so I went with the 3.21. A lot of police where I live who handout tickets generously so speeding with the Hemi isn’t my thing and the 3.21 is buttery smooth

There was a difference from the 3.92 but I have no regrets.

My local dealer was phenomenal to do business with. The truck was there two days and I wasn’t planning on buying until the fall but 20% off the price was acceptable to me. I’ve bought and owned some nice cars but this dealer knew the truck inside out and got the financing taken care of in record time. Plus the GM was just what I needed him to be I never felt pressured. They were very accommodating. Just what you would expect

I love the interior and the media unit has no equal in my mind. At night the lights are superb.

My work is in the field of autism and if there are any parents out there who have kids and have questions feel free to contact me and I’ll offer my best to help.

The handle is a spey fly from fly fishing which is where I spend my leisure time when possible for those of you who like to hunt fish.

Happy to be a member and I hope the rest of you are well

Kind regards,

HHS

Congrats on the truck. Sounds like you're enjoying your truck as much as I'm enjoying mine. Best riding vehicle I've ever owned.
