S&B water issues.

Washing the vehicle, water is going between the hood and fender entering through the secondary opening in the air box. With the plug installed I noticed water in the box as well although less. I contacted S&B and was advised to modify their design by drillIng a hole where the water is pooling or to silicone the plug to the air box. I have to say I’m not satisfied with their product!

How much water is getting in? Ive had my S&B for a while and wash almost every 2 weeks and haven't noticed any issues with this on my end.

About 2-3 oz of water. So far I’ve loosened the bolt that connects to the upper portion of the fender which moved the box further away(that helped). I also loosened the bolt on the bottom of the box that goes through the wheel well to allow for drainage. I’ve run gallons of water over the hood and these two things seem to be the most helpful.
