Hi guys, just wanted to write a review of these 2 beauties since I installed the S&B about 3 weeks ago, and today I just received my Moe's TB and installed it.
Love the S&B Intake, looks very nice under the hood, HUGE *** filter on this thing and definitely gives you a deeper throaty sound if you punch on it. My MPG improved a little bit also, as I do live 30mins outside the city I'm closest to, for work. Overall I was very pleased with it, only thing I had trouble with was the 4 mounting screws for inside the box to attach that piece where it goes to the grille part, had to make the holes a bit bigger so they could lineup.
Moe's 87mm TB is VERY easy to install, looks like stock and also kinda plays mind games with you, as after the install and fired up the truck I thought soooo what gains am I supposed to feel or notice with this. Well I drove normal (my standards are driving like an old person haha) and noticed that the pedal response felt a bit different (in a good way), but when I hammered on it, THAT'S when I felt the difference. It definitely feels like it pulls faster, acceleration feels very smooth, and between 2700rpm and up, that's when I felt it the most. I am VERY pleased with this purchase and would really encourage anyone trying to get a bit more power/throttle response, to get this setup. Very easy install for both which makes it that much more appreciative.
