Running boards

I have a 21 1500 crew cab with the 6’ 4” bed and I currently have a set of N-fab running boards that were on the truck when I bought it and I like them but they limit the ground clearance which here in Michigan we have sliver lake sand dunes and I also do some trails riding in it which require some ground clearance, and I’m looking for running boards that sit higher and or flush and when I look on realtruck or any other page that has accessory’s they have a generic photo of what they look like but on a different truck, so I am wondering what some of you have

These are factory. These look like they could be a little lower than the ones you already have.

I went with Aries for the unique look and they sit slightly higher then they did on my 4th Gen. They're dirty in the picture.

I wish we had more vehicle specific images readily available on the website. Customer reviews at the bottom can have what you're looking for though. An example of a set that comes to mind here is any of the Go Rhino RB running boards. These sit pretty close to the truck for better clearance, and there's options for step width based on your preference.
