Running board "Clicking"?

So, my driver's side running board "clicks" when it retracts or, when I stand on it after it has deployed. started doing it about 95% of the time a few months back.

Anyone else have this happen?

Take it to the dealer if under warranty. Otherwise, up to you if you really want to pay them for that. If it's just making a noise, but still stable to stand on, I'd probably leave it. If it starts having some sort of functional problem, need to figure out if you want to fix it or replace with aftermarket.

My AMP boards do that. Tiny little rocks get stuck in there too where it pivots. Dont know if that’s why it does it or not.

Stupid question, are those LED lights under there? Could it be hitting those, or a harness, or a clip? I don’t recall those on my 23 limited, but in being honest, never looked.
