I get noise and vibration when making hard turns at slow speeds, forward and reverse. It almost feels like something is rubbing. When I straighten out it stops and when doesnt seem to happen at speed.
The noise sounds like a creaking or low moan. It started at 20K miles and hasnt stopped yet. Im thinking about bringing it to the dealer but not sure the standard warranty would cover it. If drive train, (5-60k) then yes, otherwise I am past the 3 year standard warranty.
Does anyone know what the heck this is and how to repair it?
This is my first Ram. Shame that at 20K mile the truck seems to have a major problem.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Have you changed your suspension? New/bigger tires? Anything at all or completely stock? More info needed.

If you're completely stock I'm going to say ball joints or end links for sway bar. Common issues if you search.

totally stock. Thanks for the response. I am taking it to the stealer today and will mention ball joints and sway bar. Will post what the stealer says.
Thanks.

stealer says too much oil in the differential and asked who put that much in there. I said the truck has 20K miles and I bought it from you. No one has put oil in there. He suggest I pay for the service to change oil and put in slip additive, I say isnt that a drive train warranty issue? The other question is, why did noise and rubbing start at 20K if the real problem is too much oil? We will see if that fixes the problem.

Dealer performed rear differential service and added two bottles of anti friction. Noise and vibration are now gone. Amazingly happy with this dealer(notice I changed name from stealer). A little concerned though that this happened at 20K miles and it was nothing more than rear diff oil. I will report back if the problem arises again. Thanks

Glad the service fixed the issue you were having. Was it covered under warranty? And thank you for sharing.
