2021 Offroad springs, 5100 bilsteins and Rough Country forged UCAs, 2.5" total front lift. 47K and the ball joints are shot. Are they replacable or do I need new UCAs? Taking a 1000 mile trip in two weeks and need this resolved soon. Thanks in advance.

Unless you installed them at O miles, those ball joints have less than 47K on them at that is not acceptable. This is why you don't buy RC. They're crap. Replace them and don't worry about it again after that.

No argument — ball joints shouldn’t crap out at 47K miles. But calling the product junk without knowing what actually caused the failure is lazy. Let’s not pretend RC parts just disintegrate on their own. The OP probably knows exactly what happened — whether it’s from thrashing the truck or skipping simple stuff like greasing. He’s replacing the joints, not the arms, so that says a lot.

If you want to trash Rough Country, go ahead. Just make sure it’s coming from real experience and not because you heard someone else cry about it on a forum.

I’ve run RC parts without a single issue. If that changes down the road, I’ll call it out. Until then, the hate feels like noise.

Given that there are race proven components out there that don't break down under the harshest conditions contradicts your assesment.
