Went to start 2020 1500 Laramie to turn her around to do an oil change, first disconnect trickle charger (not a daily, 24100 on it) but charger had a battery cant hold charge code, huh, not good (5 years old possible). Jumped in, dash okay but infotainment center did not light up as normal and over head lights also were not correct (front out rear on) Okay push brake (felt strange, way too hard) and push to start button expecting a click if it is a battery. Nothing dead.
Have a spare, new, H7 AGM, swapped batteries, same, nothing. Inspect everything. FOB works and found I can remote start it (can't be the starter and no codes if it passes for remote start) dash says push start button to drive, nothing and gear selector is locked, only way to stop the engine is click remote start button or use the hood release.

Strange, good thing not on a trip, sure looks like this is a failure of the RF hub, truck will not roll at all (even with ripcord deployed), like some theft prevention has been activated. This truck has not had a leaky rear window, check way too often but good, actually first major issue with this truck.

Anyone know anything about the RF hub? Cant even DIY it as would still have to tow to dealer to program fob, strange how fobs work fine (locks, remote start, etc.) but it is dead from RF hub (I think) to push to start, least my guess, any others?.

Hopefully the extended Mopar warranty covers it. Was hoping never to use it but here I am.

Whew, glad this happened in the driveway and about 6 miles from the dealer.
