I have a 2016 Ram Longhorn. Removed the air suspension and now use Bilstein shocks and struts. I have removed the air compressor and air distribution block. left the air tanks as I don't see a way to remove it without lifting the bed.
Question: Has anyone reused the air system as a normal air compressor. I've seen other 4x4 vehicles with aftermarket compressors and lines run to either front/back or to each wheel area for air up. I thought of reusing the air compressor, figuring out the wires and putting a switch in the dash area, reuse the tanks, and run a line around the compressor bracket into the bed with a quick connect mount on the side, and use an air hose from there, looks like I need some type of regulator as well.
