I'm an old guy and have had a lot of different trucks over the years, and several of those have been Dodge / Rams. My favorite was my 2018 3500 with the Cummins, but needs changed after my kids all grew up and moved on to college / jobs. Had a Toyota Tacoma for a couple of years thinking I could get by with a midsize truck, but decided I wanted more capability with a nice ride, so I found a 2021 1500 Bighorn Quad Cab with 12k miles, clean carfax with 5 oil changes done by the previous owner, 4x4, Hemi without the eTorque (hard to find up in my neck of the woods), and the 3.92 rear axle so the truck has sufficient towing capability. Love being back in a Ram!
Upgrades won't be excessive, but likely looking at OEM or Morimoto LED headlights to replace the halogens, find some nicer looking take-offs to replace the plain silver wheels, and the pass door power lock glitches off an on so will need to get that addressed first.
I'm also pleasantly surprised with the sound quality of the stereo - I had to add a sub to the Tacoma to get any bottom end, but this truck sounds fairly decent with just the stock system. Maybe need to add some sound deadening to the doors to damp out some slight vibrations I hear, but will be looking at the forums to see what others are doing / have done with their trucks to further improve the sound quality without going with a full replacement that costs thousands.
