First post and been in the forum for a few months and it’s brilliant the amount of good discussion and information that’s available here.
I became the proud owner of a 2021 dodge ram 1500 limited with Rambox and MFT- 5”7’ bed.
Love the truck and brings smiles everytime me and family are out in it.
The truck came with factory tonneau and black bed rails. I am looking at installing the Retrax pro XR.
I have been told that I need to change the bed rail to a anodised one but looking at the installation instructions I don’t see why the factory bed rail won’t work.
I am sure someone in this forum has already done this and I would appreciate if you could provide some guidance on what I should and should not change prior to installation and some photos if possible of your setup.
