hey guys I'm thinking about picking up either the retrax pro mx or powertrax pro mx for my 19 limited. my question is does anyone have experience with retrax covers in cold climates? with snow, ice etc? do they still operate normally or do they freeze up?

Depends on what your definition of "cold climate" is. Where I live in northern Montana, the winters regularly bring sustained temperatures (without windchill) between -30F and -40F, during which time nothing really works right, rolling or folding. It would help if you fill out your Truck/Location information in your signature. Then, folks from your region can chime in and give you some more targeted information.
