Retractable bed cover w/multifunction tailgate

I’m having a problem finding a solution to the bed braces with the multifunction tailgate working with a retractable bed cover.
Anyone out there solve this problem?

Right on replacement brackets and Retrax work fine. Do a search - there is a long thread here…
