Replacing Standard Tailgate with MFTG

Anyone know if it is possible to swap my standard tailgate to a MFTG or is the connection to the truck bed completely different rendering that impossible?

There are several threads which discuss this. Basically, it's easier if you have a rambox, but still not just a simple swap. You need to replace some of the striker parts. On a non rambox bed you also need the extra bracing for the front corners of the bed.
