I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited. I had a ParkSense fault come on, saying the front ParkSense is off now unavailable and needs service. When I read the codes, it said the #2 sensor is bad. Unfortunately, this sensor is in the left fog lamp housing/bezel.

Is there any way to take the fog lamp bezel off without taking the whole bumper off? I was just under there and it is not at all ovbious how to get in there to replace the sensor. Thank you in advance for your help.

Watch this video, it shows you how to get to the sensors.

** Locate the effected sensor, un-plug the connector ... either on your back or a lift, the sensor pushes outwards from the rear, slide new sensor in an plug it in .. from there you should be good to go

Thank you, but from what I can see, on this model there is an enclosed plastic housing that appear to be snapped to the bumper bezel, and the bulb and the sensor must be inside there. I can see one clip attaching them, and there must be one on the outer side of the housing too. There is only one connector on this housing, and it appears to be for the foglight itself. Per the video that was posted earlier, I will need to remove the left front wheel to remove the front part of the inner fender shield to gain better access to this area. What's kept me from doing that this week is the fact that here in Maine it snows a couple of inches every night, plus it's cold. I don't have a garage that this vehicle will fit in to work on it.

I just replaced my driver's side sensor that points sideways. The round plastic mount in the fog light panel had broken from previous owner bumping something and sensor was left dangling inside bumper. I ordered a replacement snap in sensor bracket for $5. Turned wheel to right, removed 3 8mm bolts and loosened the two on the inner side behind the wheel and the panel just pops out. From there I was able to get my hand in and get the sensor disconnected and removed. Snapped in new sensor bracket from outside, slid sensor in so it locked, and then plugged bsck in. Took 5 minutes.

If you have to remove the fog light to get the other sensor, it's easy to do with that fender panel replaced. With a good light or headlight band and a ratchet, its easily done without removing the wheel, but removing it would give you more room. I've got air suspension so I didn't want to take the extra step of service mode if I could avoid it.
