Has anyone gone from an aftermarket muffler back to “stock” or quiet? I have a carven TR muffler welded on and I’d like to go back to the oem quietness. Has anyone done this and if so what muffler did you use if you didn’t use OEM?

@PorBoy has done much more than that ;)

Sadly yes I have and learned my lesson which is why I’m back to the Mopar catback lol.

You can get a shop to swap it with a magnaflow 22 inch. Almost the same as stock.

How loud can it be?
I have a muffler delete with 5" Carven exhaust tips and it's still way to quiet.
I drove just over 1300 miles Monday into Tuesday from Maine to Florida and I could handle it to be quite a bit louder. I'll be 53 this month and I guess I'm still a kid at heart because I still prefer loud over quiet.

For me at the time I was swapping exhausts out sooo much, my wife and daughters were riding with me. Complained all of them were too loud. Now ones away at college and the other has her own vehicle. Wife isn’t complaining about my Mopar one so I consider that a win lol.

I have Carven R exhaust. Its too loud, and now I’m waiting for a remake this exhaust with the Helmholtz resonator. When we install this, try to show you guys
