Anyone know how the front silver body piece under the headlight comes off?

Look up a headlight installation video. It's kind of tricky, even being super careful I broke the final clip on each side
 
ok, I had a small scratch that I touched up and thought maybe if I got the piece off I could leave it somewhere for re paint. Thanks..
