Remote start/key fob

My son was playing with my key fob yesterday and for some reason now my truck won’t remote start. The lights only blink one time although I am pressing the button 2x. Anyone know how to reset this?

Are you low on gas? Of the gas light is on the truck won’t remote start

If remote start fails a number of times, it won't try until you start it from within the truck.

Had this exact situation happen to me, parked on an extreme incline at 1/4 tank and when I went to remote start had the single blink and no start. Got in and started the truck right up and low fuel light was on and it showed me at maybe 1/16 of a tank.

I have realized over the past couple weeks as we have had some cold mornings here in Michigan, if you remote start the truck two consecutive times and it times out, it will not let you remote start the truck a third time.
