I've located a Rebel 12 and I like the front end and aggressive look, but really don't like so much red in the interior. I love the interior of the Laramie and Limited, but hate the chrome, so would probably do one with the sport package. I also like the 2-tone in the Rebel that doesn't appear to be available in the Laramie or Limited. I was told by the dealer that the Rebel is a different driving experience entirely. I wonder about that one. I will likely never take it off road, but will be in snow periodically. They said that they can do the seats custom to make them all black ($$). I also think that I prefer the 12" rather than the 8.4, but would also like anyone with experience on that to chime in. Thoughts anyone.....Rebel 12 vs. Laramie Sport vs. Limited.....??

Longhorn. ;)

These are all very different appearance / option packages for what is essentially the same truck.

The interior of the Limited (or Longhorn) is a cut above...just a better grade of leather, a lot more of it, etc. The Rebel’s unique interior is part of its identity, in my opinion...I’d “embrace the red” (or maybe pick up some seat covers). And while the Rebel 12 shares the namesake screen, I believe it’s been stated that it doesn’t have the 360-degree surround view camera system. (I can’t recall whether it has the 19-speaker H/K system...). I have all the bells and whistles, and all of the above (12” + surround view + H/K system + heated/ventilated/reclining seats + more) were selling points for me.

The exterior is a preference decision. I would have been tempted by the Rebel 12 if it had been offered when I ordered, but I’d never think of trading in my Longhorn for one. With a Laramie Sport, Limited, or Longhorn, you can get color-matched bumpers. The hood on the Laramie Sport is really its signature difference.

All trucks can be had with the air suspension, and non-Rebels can be optioned with the Off-Road Group (off road package) to essentially equip them just like a Rebel. Granted, the shocks aren’t branded Bilsteins, and the tires are different. But everything else is set up the same. I’ve got the air suspension and ORG for this reason.

The best feature of the Rebel 12 may be exclusivity. It’s had such a short production run that it’s something of a unicorn.

Good luck with your decision!

This is very helpful! Thank you for chiming in. The Rebel does come with 19 speaker HK. Again, thank you for chiming in!
