Rear seat trim piece question

2022 ram Laramie with the under rear seat rear storage (the bar/gate that folds up and down).

Im putting in a skar under rear seat sub box. I removed the under seat storage components. The box is close to fitting but looks like this trim piece is stopping it from going further back. I thought i read somewhere the trucks that didnt come with the under seat storage had this same trim piece but shorter. Is this true and where can i find a part number to order it?

Is it possible to modify the sub-box to fit the existing parts in the truck? Maybe cheaper and faster. If you have a Dremel/Dremel-like tool, may, be easily done. Trace the outline on the sub box then take a look to verify it is possible before cutting. The old adage of measure 2x then cut once. Trust but verify.
The trace may be very hard to accomplish so just estimate the approximate location, then cut a smaller outline than needed then test fit several times will result in a better fit/tighter fit.
