Rear door latch cable freezing

Last night and this morning I have had my rear door latch cable freeze on my 2020 1500 Limited. I have read the previous posts concerning this. Has anyone gone in and lubed the cables on their own? How bad was it to get to and what did you lube it with? Dealer is weeks out to diagnose it and it might not be cold when I bring it in.

Sorry you are going through this. I was in the original thread and probably the first to get a TSB on the issue. If you go that route the dealer might be wiiling to service you sooner. I had a 2020 Rebel at the time...dealer thought he fixed it the first time and then called me back to say nope he found a TSB and to bring it back in. Never had a problem after that. I think it's more than just lubing the cables...what is getting in the channel somewhere if I remember correctly.
