Rear dash camera mounting options

With the sliding rear window, where is everyone mounting their rear facing dash camera? I was thinking just to the drivers side of it since it opens to the passenger side. It’ll put the video off center but as long as the angle is wide enough it should capture the whole rear end. Thinking about this one unless there is a better option out there.

Ideally I’d just be able to record from my 360 cameras, but unfortunately that’s not an option at the moment. Maybe someday…

You have it opposite for which way it opens. But yes mine is mounted just to the passenger side of rear window. Doesn't really effect the view much, captures anything you'd want to catch if there is an accident you need the video for
