I gotta admit, I feel like I called this from the beginning. Really, it's just disappointing that it took Stellantis so long to make the call. I feel like that delay is representative of what has been wrong in management there. Well, one thing wrong, anyway. It appears this decision was one of the first things the new/old CEO did now that he is back at the helm.

I want a Ramcharger, but not a first-year model. 2nd or 3rd year for me, please. So, the sooner they get it out there, the better. Because that means the sooner I will feel comfortable buying one.

this was actually a smarter decision on the new/older CEO. people are not adopting the full electric vehicles like they thought they would. I have always said the hybrid gas/ electric truck makes more sense. the 100% electric Market is still really small and not showing any signs of an uptick of any substance yet nationwide. sure, there are areas of the country people like them but those are small areas in comparison to the country as a whole. for a working truck the hybrid makes more sense and will appeal to more people nationwide.

Me, too. Right now, I fully expect the 2nd or 3rd year of production of the Ramcharger to be my next truck.

Ditto to StuartV. I’ll be ready to sell/trade in my 23 in 6-7 years… extended range/gas/hybrid has me intrigued as well.

The RamCharger is about the only thing that would tempt me away from my current rig.

Pie-in-the-sky thinking, but a hydrogen / electric PHEV seems like the ultimate solution. Zero emissions (aside from water), unlimited fuel reserves (presuming plants are constructed and distribution expands), and so on.
