I had posted a while back (https://5thgenrams.com/community/th...box-inserts-revised-improved.3468/#post-52161) that I was working on the horizontal inserts for the Ramboxes (67" bed). That thread is so old that I decided to start a new one now that I have completed the project.

Here are two PDFs. The first one has the explanation and drawings which can be printed on your printer and used to cut the inserts.

The second one includes photos of my application, which includes foam padding on the inserts and my installation of 2 fire extinguishers into the forward inserts. Neither of these enhancements are needed to produce the inserts of course.

I did not make vertical inserts because my goal was to create a long flat platform..

You wouldn't happen to be an engineer would you? Looks to me like you're someone experienced in process planning.

Excellent work, and I can't stress enough how excellent. There's not many people that put together such a complete "how to" for nothing other than to help out others. The writeup probably took almost as long as all the measuring and generating of the templates.

Well done.

I'm a retired programmer. Being retired gives me the time to do tedious work Thanks for the encouragement.

Absolutely amazing detail and quality! Wondering why Ram hasn't offered anything but the vertical dividers for the 5'7" Rambox? I am going to purchase a 2019 to replace my 2010 Rambox 5'7" bed . I purchased the complete kit with netting after purchasing my 2010 and would like to do the same for the 2019.

Ralph, Thank you so much for the detailed templates and instructions. I have been considering making these for my truck since they are not available form Mopar. This will save a lot of time. I had a 2014 Ram with the inserts purchased from Mopar and I used them alot. They just make better use of the space inside the Ram Boxes.
Great Job!

Hello! Would you be willing to release the password for the file? I am trying to import the PDF into Coreldraw to cut the patterns with my laser in acrylic. Whenever I open the PDF in Coreldraw it asks for a password. Thanks!

Thanks for the patterns. I made/modified mine using 1/4" exterior plywood and just used toolbox drawer liner to keep tools from sliding. Your templates were great. I decided to add vertical dividers also.

Are these for the DT or the DS body?

Do you templates for your vertical spacers?
