Rambox Cargo Rails Top Slot

For the Rambox with the silver cargo rails, what is the slot on top of the rails for?
The cleats are pretty self explanatory, but I have not found any information on any kind of accessory to fit the top slot.
It looks like it could take T-nuts, but all the covers I've found both into the cleat slot or clamp to the entire rail....

The side of the rail is for the cleats, the top is a t-slot.
It looks like you should be able to use it to mount something, but all the tonneau covers use clamps or bolt into the slots used for cleats.
I seriously have not seen anything that actually uses the t-slots....

My BakFlip MX4 used rails that slide into that channel. That's why I had to switch my bed rails to the silver ones as opposed to the black ones that came with the factory tonneau/Rambox combo.

Some bed covers utilize the top slot. The BakFlip cover on our 2020 Limited installs into the top channel. Here's a link to the installation instructions which show this...

These are the same part numbers that I ordered, but I got mine from BAM Wholesale Parts at considerably lower cost than those eBay links...paid $350 for the pair including shipping about a year ago.

Found a guy selling a truxport for $50 on Marketplace. Says he didn't pay attention to the "Rambox only" on it.... Fits great! Slides right in that top slot like yall said.
