Ram v6 engine

Anyone have the v6 engine and do any towing with it? Experiences appreciated.

TFL did a video towing with a gladiator that had the pentastar v6. I don't recall what gearing was in it.
I can imagine it would not do as well in the ram due to the weight.

Depends what you're towing. I had a 2014 with the V6 and towed up to 5,000lbs no issue multiple times even with the 3.21 rear. If I was doing it again I'd get the 3.55 rear for more pulling power. If you tow heavy loads frequently and/or over long distance might want the hemi but if you are talking about lighter duty towing in town or infrequent heavier stuff the V6 is a great engine. I believe CC 5'7" 4x4 BH with 3.55 is rated for 7,460lbs.
