Ram Rebel question?

I have a 2019 Ram Rebel 5.7 engine. I was charging my oil and I noticed what appears to be some sort of rust color dust on my frame and inter CV joint. The seal isnt leaking at all so I dont know where this in coming from.
My question, before I take it to the shop, is has anyone ever seen this before and maybe what has caused this?

which part of the country do you live? northern trucks are more likely to see rust due to salt on the roads
