I just had my truck weighed on a certified scale at a local truck stop. My truck has almost every possible option. It weighed 5550 lbs. It would be interesting to know the weight of one with the same 4x4, crew cab short box with little or know options. I would think the panoramic sunroof, Harmon Kardon, Power side steps, air suspension and all the optional safety stuff adds a decent amount of weight. This truck still comes in a bit lower than my loaded '17 GMC 1500 4x4 crew cab short box which weighed just over 5600 lbs.

What does your door sticker show for payload?

No, payload. Subtract it from 7,100 and see how closely the sticker matches the scale!
Payload = 1506 which would calculate out to 5594 vehicle weight. So yes, it does come out pretty close to actual weight. I had 1/2 tank of fuel when I weighed it so if tank was full that would make it almist spot on to the sticker

Nice. Another confirmation of accuracy of the door stickers. Thanks for posting.
