Quick question: RAM only published the "standard" horsepower for the 5.7 Hemi eTorque. I have a 2022 Laramie GT. I have not been able to find if the GT package, with the cold air induction, adds any more horsepower to the "standard" spec engine. Did some searcing in the forums here and online in general but can't find anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find this info or if you have it, reply?

Thanks

It does not. CAI and exhaust do not add HP or MPG gains.

Must have something to do with the hp to weight ratio. I think I read about that somewhere.

Could option weight and body style be the reason my Limited 4x payload isn't 2000 pounds?
Say it ain't so!

Your horsepower has nothing to do with your payload at least with a 1500.
The frame can't support any more weight.
I believe you can still tow around 11,000 lbs as long as there is no hitch weight in theory, same as a Tradesman.

That was all in jest, I suppose I need to be more clear.

As far as towing, I remember the 2012 tv ad when the Tundra "towed" the space shuttle. That was 155,000 pounds. And you are saying I can only tow 11-12K? 😮🤔

"...Much of the day's trip was made with the shuttle riding on a modified NASA overland transporter driven by four self-propelled, computer-controlled vehicles. To cross the 405 freeway however, the 155,000-pound (70,300-kilogram) Endeavour needed a tow."

Motor Trend quoted an even higher weight in their article: "Toyota, which already had a 20-year partnership with the California Science Center, was part of the solution: it would use a Tundra to get the Shuttle over the bridge. The Tundra weighs significantly less than the robotic dollys, so it was just a question of getting the transporter connected to the back of the Tundra -- and getting a Tundra to tow 292,500 pounds."

To quote a famous politician, :"Cmon man", RAM needs to step up!
